Sprouting seeds come in a wide range of sizes and colours. We like to mix our sprouting seeds together in a sprouting jar to enjoy a variety of flavours in our salads, wraps, stir fry’s and smoothies. Here are some of our favourites:
Radish seeds:
If you like radishes you’re going to love radish sprouts. Every radish sprout seems to have the flavour of a fully grown radish – so you can imagine what your mouth will think when you chew a handful of these.
Pea:
You can count on sprouting these seeds to exponentially increase your protein and nutrient intake. A single cup of sprouted peas contain more than 21 percent of your recommended daily intake of your protein.
Alfalfa:
A crispy crunch with a mild flavour, and make a perfect high protein topper to any meal. Alfalfa seeds are highly nutritious, high in Vitamins A, B, C, E and K, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Zinc, which are all essential for your body gut health.
Broccoli:
Wonderfully subtle peppery, cabbage like flavour with a crispy crunch to make a perfect high protein topper to any meal. Broccoli seeds are full of antioxidants and are high in Vitamins A, B, C, E and K , as well as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Potassium, which are all essential for your body.
Red Cabbage:
Mild, sweet, Cabbage flavour. This seed produces a stunningly beautiful deep red-purple sprout. It is full of Vitamins A, B, C, E and K Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc as well as essential nutrients for your body. Red cabbage produces a crunchy and exciting element to salads and sandwiches.
Red Clover:
Mild in flavour with a mild crunch, a bit like alfalfa but big on nutrition, it is high in vitamins A, B, C, E and K as well as Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Zinc. Red clover sprouts are best for salads, sandwiches or even juicing.
Salad Rape:
A great alternative to cress, full of Vitamins A, B, C, E, K, Potassium, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc & Phosphorus. reducing inflammation and protecting healthy cells throughout the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular and nervous system.
Mung Bean:
A staple in Chinese cuisine, mung beans produce a thick white shoot with mild flavour but full of Vitamins A, B, C and E Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Potassium. Enjoy raw or cooked in stir fry’s.
